Approve timecards

When your employee timecards are ready for payroll processing, your required to approve their timecards. You cannot remove the approval after the timecard is signed off.

Before you approve, you should resolve any exceptions and missed punches.

To approve a timecard:

  1. Open a timecard and select the appropriate timeframe.
  2. Make sure the timecard is accurate.
  3. Tap Approve. 

You can also approve multiple timecards at the same time from the Employee Timecards summary page (Main Menu > Time > Employee Timecards).

  1. Select the appropriate timeframe and search criteria.
  2. Select the one or more check boxes next to Employee Full Name and tap Open Selected. To select all the check boxes, tap Select All. To clear all the selected names, tap Unselect All.
  3. Tap Approve
  4. Tap Yes.
  5. Verify the approval by selecting the Main Menu > Dataviews & Reports > Group Edit Results.
  6. Tap the arrow in the row you want to verify to open the Group Edit Error Log.
  7. View the Details by tapping each item.
  8. Tap Done to exit the Group Edit Error Log.

The way that approval is displayed in your timecard differs depending on whether you are using table view or list view.

You can approve the entire timeframe or part of the timeframe. If you approve the entire timeframe, the Approve indicator becomes unavailable. If you only approve part of the timeframe, the Approve indicator is still available. 

To remove approval, tap More Actions and then tap Remove Approval.
